Akrapovic Racing Exhaust System for the Husqvarna TE 250 (04-05)
The Akrapovic RACING exhaust system for the Husqvarna TE 250, with its major performance increase at the top of the rpm range, is intended mainly for professional enduro riders, while amateur riders will be more interested in the Akrapovic Slip-On partial exhaust system. The RACING system is made of high-quality stainless steel which guarantees durability in the tough conditions of enduro riding. The exhaust system package includes a FIM MX 98 dB and a FIM ENDURO 94 dB noise dampers.

PERFORMANCE
Measurements of the Akrapovic RACING system on the HUSQVARNA TE 250 (with 94dB noise damper):
Power: the system is designed to suit the 250 cc engine’s natural tendency to perform at high revs. With the Akrapovic RACING system, the Husqvarna engine puts out max. power at the top of the range, measuring 33.7 HP at 12400 rpm. In order to ensure an increase at the top of the range, we were forced to accept a slight loss of power at around 5000 rpm.
Torque: the torque curve also displays the characteristics of the RACING system, with an increase at the top of the range in exchange for a slight drop at the low end of the middle. The system is not intended to provide a cushy ride, but for winding it out at maximum capacity.

CONFIGURATION
The individual components of the Akrapovic 2-1 RACING exhaust system for the Husqvarna TE 250 (header tubes, collector, link pipe) are made of conical stainless steel tubes. They are connected with free-floating joints secured with silicon-shielded tensioning springs. The muffler is the familiar Akrapovic oval, made entirely of titanium (including the interior). The muffler is attached to the frame with one dual and one single carbon-fiber clamp.
For riders who enjoy both enduro and MX riding, the Akrapovic RACING system is available with both a FIM MX 98 dB and a FIM ENDURO 94 dB noise damper.
